The Apple AR/VR headset could have a clunky MagSafe battery pack

New rumors for Apple’s digital actuality headset, the reportedly named Actuality Professional, recommend the corporate is taking an uncommon method by giving it an exterior battery pack.

This spherical of data comes from a recent Bloomberg newsletter (opens in new tab) by notable trade analyst Mark Gurman who claims Apple made the selection in an effort to “cut back weight and enhance consolation.” The battery pack is claimed to be sufficiently small to suit inside your pocket and can hook up with the VR headset by way of cable. This design selection flies within the face of most headsets which usually have an inner battery just like the Oculus Quest 2.
