Neato robot vacuums bite the dust – here’s what the shutdown means for you

Among the best robotic vacuum makers round, Neato Robotics, is unfortunately being shut down, marking the top of an 18-year journey for the robovac pioneer.

Neato’s house owners, the German firm Vorwerk, introduced in a press release (opens in new tab) that “Neato will now be closed regardless of restructuring efforts”, as the corporate had “not achieved the financial objectives it has set itself for a number of years”.
