How to enable dark mode

One of the most widely used tools in our daily lives is Google Search, but its white background can be quite distracting in a dark room. This is how you can enable Google Search Dark Mode on the desktop. Users can now choose from three options in appearance settings of the search engine from Google, including Dark and Light Mode, with the third option keeping Google Search’s appearance settings synced with their computer’s default theme, which will be very helpful if users have set an automatic timer to turn on and off Dark Mode. The Dark Mode helps reduce eye strain by keeping a minimum contrast ratio.

The Google Search appearance settings m for the first time in September 2021 in a post on Google Support.

There are three new options in the new appearance settings: device default, Dark, and light options. As I mentioned in the post, the Dark Mode settings were rolled out on September 9 to users and have gradually been made available to all users over the next few weeks.
